1. Races may run using only track-approved motors.
(Note this list may be out-of date, please contact for new released motors)
Approved motor List

  • Trinity Monster Stock motor (both normal and pro)
  • Associated/Reedy MVP Stock motor (both normal and pro)
  • EPIC ROAR Stock motor (both normal and pro)
  • Team Orion Core Stock RS 27T Rebuild Motor (both normal and pro)
  • Tamiya Super Stock Motor TZ or RZ
  • Trinity Co27 Monster Stock Motor (both normal and pro)
  • Trinity P2k2 Pro Stock Motor (both normal and pro)
  • Fantom Monster Stock motor (both normal and pro)

2. Motor label may “not” be removed
3. 3 rd party assembled motors with labels other than the ones found on the approved motor list are not allowed.
4. Motors can be tuned but not modified specifically in the following areas;

  • Must have original arm tag and 27 turn windings.(damaged tags or visibly altered arms with be disqualified)
  • Must have 24 degree fixed timing (brush timing is allowed)
  • Can and arm part mixing is not allowed.
  • Bushing cannot be altered or replaced with bearings.

5. Motors can be rebuilt using like components only. The following is allowed

  • Any laydown brush may be used
  • Motor shimming is allowed
  • Motor spring changes are allowed either softer or harder torsion spring.
  • Motor com drops are allowed
  • Armature comm turning is allowed
